As part of National Skills Week, Nestlé is sharing a fantastic video to inspire and support young people who are considering a career in hospitality as a chef which is a dynamic and very rewarding career.

Produced in partnership with Explore Careers the video showcases Nestlé’s 2019 Golden Chef’s Hat Award winners, Giles Gabutina and Alessio Nogarotto who share their inspirational story of how they got started in their careers as chefs and their experiences along the way.

You will also hear from Mark Clayton, Nestlé Professional Executive Chef, who shares his personal story becoming a chef and his journey to where he is now.
Mark shares some fantastic advice for aspiring chefs saying, “building your chef career is like building a pyramid – the wider you build your base, the higher you will go,” highlighting the importance of not rushing to achieve your goal but rather building a solid foundation first.
